Supporting Community-Led Health and Wellness Initiatives
The Contra Costa Regional Health Foundation provides fiscal sponsorship for mission-aligned programs and initiatives that improve the health, safety, and wellness of Contra Costa County residents.
Fiscal sponsorship allows projects to operate under CCRHF’s established 501(c)(3) nonprofit structure while receiving the financial oversight, administrative support, and compliance infrastructure needed to responsibly manage charitable funds.
Our goal is simple: reduce administrative barriers so community leaders and partners can focus on creating impact.
What is Fiscal Sponsorship?
Fiscal sponsorship is a formal partnership in which CCRHF serves as the legal and financial home for an approved project or initiative.
Through this partnership, sponsored projects can:

Receive grants and charitable donations

Operate under an established nonprofit structure

Access financial and administrative support

Reduce the time and cost associated with creating a new nonprofit organization​
CCRHF maintains oversight of all sponsored funds to ensure compliance with nonprofit, legal, tax, and donor requirements.
